How to Delete Your Ticketmaster Account
Ticketmaster has no instant self-serve delete button — you submit a privacy/closure request and they process it, which can take a few days. Closing also affects your linked Live Nation account.
What Ticketmaster keeps after deletion
- Order and payment history retained for legal and tax purposes.
- Transferred or resold tickets remain associated with the recipient.
Steps to delete your Ticketmaster account
- Sign in and download your data. Submit a data access/export request from the Privacy area first if you want a copy of your order history.
- Open the account-closure request. Go to the Ticketmaster Help Center and use the 'Close my account' / privacy request form (help.ticketmaster.com).
- Verify your identity. Confirm via the email on file so they can match the request to your account.
- Wait for confirmation. Closure is handled by support — you'll get an email when it's done.
Gotchas to watch for
- Pending orders or upcoming events can block closure until they pass.
- Your Live Nation login is linked — closing one may affect the other.
